Electrification for Co-ops
Both NYS and NYC passed laws in 2019 to limit greenhouse gas emissions from residential buildings. Most buildings in NYC are required to reduce our CO2 emissions as a result of these laws. This class is an introduction to clean energy through electrification of your heating and hot water systems. Learn about “air source heat pumps,” how they work to heat and cool spaces, and options for your co-op to finance electrification upgrades. This training will be conducted in person at 728 Driggs Avenue in Brooklyn.
