Electrification for Co-ops
Both NYS and NYC passed laws in 2019 to limit “greenhouse gas emissions” from residential buildings. Most buildings in NYC are required to reduce CO2 emmisions as a result. This class will review the clean energy option of electrification for heating and hot water systems. Learn how “air source heat pumps” work to heat and cool, and options to pay for electrification upgrades. This training will be conducted in person at 664 West 161 Street.
