Fiscal Year 2021 was a big year at UHAB. We launched a new effort to organize HDFC co-op members for housing justice through our Shareholder Leaders’ Group, defended tenants in Eastern Brooklyn from eviction, and began our Co-op Improvement Program to prevent foreclosure among low-income homeowners.
