With over 50 years of experience, UHAB offers a wide range of services to support co-ops across New York City. UHAB provides free technical assistance and training to a majority of HDFC co-ops. These general support services empower co-op communities and ensure long-term sustainability and affordability.
All UHAB training and technical assistance is available in Spanish for broader accessibility. HDFCs can also become UHAB members to access additional services such as cost saving programs.
Co-ops facing significant financial or physical distress may be selected for our Co-op Improvement Program (CIP), which provides intensive, critical support to help stabilize and strengthen distressed co-ops.
